Twenty minutes later, he was pacing the floor of Alvin Draper's apartment. Tim sat crosslegged on the couch, his elbows resting on his knees and his fingers steepled over his mouth like a supervillain's. "Dude," he said, as he paced, "you can't laugh."

"I'm not sure I can promise that," Tim said, with a strong overtone of amusement.

Kon whirled around and pointed a finger at him, "No, dude! You can't laugh. For real!"

Tim smiled just a little with the corner of his mouth. It was the face he usually made when he thought Kon was being an idiot, but he didn't mind much. Kon couldn't look at him. He turned and stared out the tiny, grimy window at the brick wall of the next building over. "I need you to be my boyfriend," Kon said quickly, and then bit his lip.

I'm supposed to be done NOOOW. >.< My posting date isn't till December 6th, but we were really supposed to be done by last night.

I'm going to be busy this week. As soon as I recover from staying up til four writing that last part. I feel somewhat justified, in that I would have been done almost a month ago, if my fic were 15,000 words shorter...

:D Hehe, given how awesome the fic is, I'm super glad I'm illustrating for you too! I don't know what I would do if all I got were little snippets of the story. I feel so spoiled being able to read the whole thing.

So if your posting date is December 6, do I release the art in conjunction with your story. . .? Never done a Big Bang before.

Yes, they get posted together on the scifibigbang community on that date, and can't be posted anywhere else before. Once they go up on the comm, though, we can post where ever we like. But until then it's SUPER SEKRIT.

I'm not sure if my teaser posts are technically legal. But they're fun for me. I got about 500 words more, today, which is not enough to post over. It should have been more, but I am having family dinner tonight instead of writing time. I'd be more frustrated if I weren't getting my mom's portabello fajitas out of the deal...

It feels so delightfully cultish. Can we have robes??? I'm kind of excited that we get to post the stuff together though. Does it get lumped into one post? If so, I should make sure you have all the final pieces of art by then.
