The series title and several of the story titles come from On The Bus Mall by The Decemberists, which is a lovely little song off Picaresque about two teenaged prostitutes. Kings in Disguise is the title of an excellent graphic novel about a boy riding the rails across depression era America.

This time I lasted a week.

So, last week, I wrote about Five Tims That Weren't, and one of those Tims got considerable more attention than others. By coincidence, or maybe because it bled through a bit, the Tim that got all the attention was the Tim that's been living in my head for a while as part of an AU Tim/Jason thing.

faile_neume egged me on, originally, and

ladymirth also asked for more, and I ended up with another ficlet in that verse, and then

kirax2 sent me an email full of love, and now there's a third one.

The moral of this story is that I am obviously very, very easy.
