Oh, Ghost!Jason... I wish I knew where to find scans of that Batman Black and White story where he moves the tea things and watches Alfred from the curtains! Where to find them quickly, I mean. I'm pretty sure the trade is in my car, but driving to mom's to scan them would be kind of a waste because -

OMG BIG BANG POSTING IN THREEEE DAAAAYS.

I got sick this weekend, presumably having caught something from one of the little cousins. I was chugging along fine until I woke up Monday and couldn't pick my damned head up. I didn't miss any work, but only because my workload is fairly light on weekdays, though I sort of maybe missed a shift at the O's but they didn't ever call to schedule one. T's mom has sent me home way early every day this week, which has been wonderful. For the last three days, that's meant sleeping A LOT. Today, though, it meant library time, because I still have a few thousand words or so left on my Big Bang.

The title (Close to Home) is taking on a whole new meaning to me all of a sudden. SO CLOSE OMG. I can taste you, ending. The climax is done, I'm just writing a bit of wrap up now. Most of it's pretty much fully edited. I need to format it all, though, which is going to be a pain, so I'm planning to dedicate all day Saturday to final edits and formatting, and then Sunday morning when I get off my overnight shift, I'll be posting. Probably I ought to figure out a way not to spam my flist with it, as there will be 13 chapters plus pictures. PICTURES! Because sammage_art is the BEST!

I can't even tell you how much I owe faile_neume and kirax2 at this point, for everything from punctuation help to holding my metaphorical hand through fic induced breakdown. ^_^;

You can post it like Bek did. put it all up under private lock, then a day later do an index post and then unlock the whole thing. At least I assume that's how she did it, you might want to ask her for specifics.

That story somehow manages to give me both the chills and the warm-fuzzies.

My other favorite is "The Lesson", where Scary Bat God talks to wee Bruce in the dark, and Brucie is born.

Heehee. Brucie. My (omg even closer to done) Bang has Tim doing an impression of Brucie that makes Kon cringe in a way that has nothing to do with getting his feet stepped on.

Kon's mouth twisted. "Brucie?" he asked. He couldn't mean Batman, because no way would anyone give Batman a stupid nickname like that.

Tim stepped back a little and changed his grip, and.. shifted, somehow, his whole posture changing. "Ha ha ha, tiger!" He yanked Kon around in an uncomfortable circle, dragging him on stunned, stumbling feet. "You're just an *amazing* dancer, you know that?" He stepped on Kon's foot - hard enough that Kon was glad to be invulnerable. "Oops. Sorry, lovely, it's all this champagne! You know, you should come skiing with me and the boys, sometime. There's this *darling* little chalet in Switzerland - or is it Sweden? Which one has the skiing? I always get them confused. One of them has skiing and the other has meatballs."

I just mean, he had so much emotional *weight* right? All my favorite Jason canon stories have him dead. The one where Neron offered him to Bruce, and every time Dick or Tim hallucinated him, dreamed him, or met him at death's door.

I did like his return. I haven't been happy with much, since.

I like him pre-death.

You have failed me since I love Jason all the time (we do not mention B&R, though; that is just asking for death to everyone). You can make it up to me with fic. Since I'm writing more ghosty!Jason. *nods*
