STUDY, STUDY, JUSTINE!

Title: Proxy
Summary: It's kind of his specialty.
Characters: Tim, OMC
Rating: Genish - with implications

Tyler stands in the mouth of the alley, watching Robin tie the jerk who'd jumped him to a streetlight. He tests his sore lip with his tongue and tastes blood. When he looks down, there is a button missing from his shirt.

When he looks up, Robin is staring at him. "Are you okay?" he asks.

Tyler opens his mouth to tell him, yeah, sure, he's fine, just a little shook-up, but what comes out is, "You're Robin!" He wants to slap himself, because, oh God, he sounds like an idiot. He sounds like an idiot in front of a superhero, and it's like he can't stop, because he says, "I don't look like you at all!"

Robin stands up and stares at him. "What?"

"Oh - um. Nothing," Tyler says, because the connection between his brain and mouth has reengaged. It's true, though. They both have black hair, but the resemblence ends there. Robin's hair is short, and spiked up, and his face is much leaner, without the baby-fat that soften's Tyler's cheeks and makes him look younger. His whole body is leaner - they're almost of a height, but Robin's very thin, for all his obvious fitness.

He's...kind of hot, actually. He'd make good money if he weren't a superhero. Especially with the way he moves. He stalks closer and Tyler backs up a little, back into the alley and off the street.

Robin follows. "Tell me," he says, and Tyler swallows. His voice is low, and a little rough, and very menacing.

"I - there's this guy - well a couple of guys, now, but this one guy I met at this party... He said I looked like you."

"Did he." Robin's tone is flat, and Tyler can't tell if he's laughing or angry or what.

He starts to babble. "He's a really good customer, and mostly he just wants me to tie him up and smack him around a little - he got me a costume and it's really good, not like the cheap ones for Halloween or whatever. It's kind of my specialty? Some guys want me to fuck 'em, and there's girls, too - lots of girls. And a couple of people like to tie me up and stuff, but I kind of hate it - "

Robin hasn't moved - hasn't so much as twitched - so Tyler keeps rambling. "I was so proud of my costume, but it's all wrong! The cape is yellow, and I've got silly little shoes instead of boots like yours, and no pants - just these tiny little - "

Robin's got him backed into a shadowed doorway before Tyler even realizes that he'd moved. His hand clamps tight over Tyler's mouth, and he's looking over his shoulder, checking the alley... Did Tyler piss him off? Did he piss off a superhero? He thinks he did. He kind of hopes he did, because the alternative is that they're hiding from something, and anything Robin needs to hide from -

He watches Robin's throat bob as he swallows, and then when Robin speaks again, his voice is low and urgent.

"How much?" he asks.
