kirax2  just caused me to go look at my journal stats for the first time.

HELLO ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO DON'T COMMENT!

Seriously, though, I was trying to get inspired to write. There were more than a thousand journal views for the last piece of KAR I posted. I immediately jumped on kira about finishing the next piece because OMG APPARENTLY THOUSANDS ARE DEPENDING ON US.

Such a weird, weird feeling. I encourage all of you to go have a look if you haven't.

It's nifty knowing that people are viewing the page, in a quantitative way. I'd rather know whether people actually liked it.

I was somewhat distressed by Google Analytics telling me that people only spend an average of 8 minutes on the site.

Analytics is cool, though - Kira talked me into that one, too. XD. I can view a map of where people are accessing my journal from. Not so surprised by the scattering of Australians (*waves to Sydney and Canberra*) and some folks in California (not sure *who* in San Fran loves me, but someone does XD) - I am very curious about Bowthorpe, England, Goteborg, Sweden, and Bucharest, Hungary.

Wow Google will tell you all that. I'm going to have to check that out it seems kinda cool.
