Kon's not having a monologue about it because Kon doesn't see an issue. I don't see him as having a problem with his sexuality - we've never seen him hitting on guys in the comics, but we have seen him hitting on aliens that look only vaguely human. Hero, in the Ravers, went through self-acceptance and coming-out drama - I figure if Kon ever had that monologue, he had it then.
