You know, this is a great challenge, and I'd be more than happy to participate (assuming I can stop with the NOT BEING ABLE TO WRITE thing), but the stipulation that it be posted, not just linked, to the community? I kind of have a problem with that. I'm a little OCD about posting. With very, very few exceptions I only post my fic in my journal. It's partly because I like keeping everything in one place and partly because you never know, a community could get deleted and then boom, fics gone. So with this rule in place, I might write some lady threesomes, but they won't be part of the challenge. Because I'm sorry, I'm just not going to change my posting methods for a challenge.
You can post elsewhere, too... The reason I ask for challenge fic to be posted in the com is similar to your reason for wanting it in your journal: to avoid broken links. People move stuff around, or get purged, and then the archivist is left in a sticky situation.
But see, that doesn't work either. Then I have comments in two places, and I don't really like that. I've actually left communities before because they changed the rules and suddenly you had to post fic to the community, not just a link. This isn't something I'm going to change my mind on. I'm pretty damn stubborn about how I do things.
Look, I'm not really invested enough in being part of this contest to argue this or bargain. I mean, I'm not even sure I'll manage to get anything written. I don't do well with too many rules. That's why most of my communities basically have the rule that you shouldn't do things that are obnoxious and I let people do what they want from there.
Good luck with the contest whether I participate in it or not. As you know, I support your community and threesomes in general. Just not that rule.
