Sad though that is, Tim's not above taking advantage of it. The Tim Wayne here is a modern take on Brucie - who was way metrosexual long before metro was cool or even socially acceptable. By making himself appear something other than the traditional view of masculine, he's making himself appear weaker (again, to most people, sadly) and less superheroy.
If DC had more gay heroes, I couldn't use that motive. As the universe stands...
I find Brucie fascinating, actually. I love all their identities, and what the adoption of them says about the person underneath it all.
