Date: 2009-12-05 11:29 pm (UTC)It's PROBABLY red, but as I flip through the Periodic Table, other options, based on what her hemoglobin uses in place of iron, would be green (copper, cobalt, nickel, potassium-manganese), blue (cobalt), brown (cobalt), white (zinc), pale yellow (zinc), dark grey (nickel), milky white (zinc, aluminum, gallium), black (manganese), or magenta (potassium-manganese). (Thanks go to Wikipedia for reminding me of the colors of various metal oxides!)
