I don't think I posted when I got fired from Dillards... Oh well. The only part of the job I'll miss is Marquita, and I can call her anytime.
This post is to brag about my new job as a Regulatory Associate [official title, you know] at a medical research firm. This sounds fancier than it is. I mostly will be doing paperwork and filing things, so that if/when the FDA and various monitoring agencies come to check up on things, it's all in order.
The nifty part is, I get my very own office (where I am now). It's the only one upstairs, with all the reference and regulatory stuff, so I have privacy for goofing. I even have a state of the art 'boss alert warning system' - ie, the stairs are creaky. I've already brought in my Shakespeare bobble-head, my "literate chimpanzee" bookends, and my binary clock (I have the blue one). I'll have the place cluttered with personal detritus in no time.
