Robbery

Someone broke into the bakery after I left on Tuesday. I only just found out this afternoon. They took a big marble block from behind the store (Mr. Boss's mom operates a flooring business from our storage room), smashed through the glass at the front of the shop, and took the register. The register contained $56.13. Ha ha. Also, the burgler somehow missed the GIANT PLASMA TV on the wall right behind the register. *rolls eyes* Stupid burgler. 

In further evidence of their lame-ass racistnest, my bosses took one look at the surveilance vid and declared that the robber must have been black, because he was "buff."  You can't see anything of the guy's skin or hair - he's well covered up. Those of us who actually work at the store are pretty sure the thief is actually the creepy guy who was fired two weeks ago. The creepy white guy who was fired two weeks ago.  

In other news, Brother broke up with (read, was cheated on and dumped by) the girlfriend of 1.5 years I now feel justified in never having liked. Only, she didn't break up with him to his face - she changed her relationship status to single in facebook, and told Brother's best friend she had cheated, but not to tell Brother. >.< Skank ho. She wasn't good enough for him anyway, and I was never really sure what he saw in her (other than looks).

It was surprisingly hard for me to think of 15 favorite movies that other people hadn't already done.  IMDb was sadly lacking in quotes for my favorite Czech surrealist horror film, so you were spared that piece of obscurity.

ETA: I felt bad that no one guessed most of my movies. ^_^; This is probably my fault for a) not watching many recent movies b) having a small flist. I didn't think any of the choices were that obscure, even though I did let a few indie films sneak in; they were all widely watched and had famous actors and/or directors. Still, the movies are all good, and I wanted people to see what they were, so I've posted the answers.
