iesikaYay! Managed to hack my own computer (with conciderable help from PBiL). Still don't know what the password was, but now that doesn't matter anymore. I'm so happy! Unfortunately, I now can't get it to connect to the internet. This will be worked out in time. The important thing is, my computer has risen from the grave.
ETA: YES! Got it! I'm back! (And have found a file in which I had saved 326 fics to be recced, along with a partially finished Harry Potter story I'd completely forgotten about that looks pretty good).
