I made two new recipes, both of which turned out well, and had a great time. Dad, however, is now talking about a desire to sell the camp. I’m the only one in the family he’s talked to about it (and at some length, at that), and I’ve been sworn to secrecy. Macie is recovering, but slowly, from her weekend. She is quite thoroughly worn out. She loves the camp more than any of us.

Date: 2008-06-24 03:35 am (UTC)Chocolate with white chocolate chips - I added 1/2 tsp each of baking soda and powder to the recipe, and they were still as dense as fudge brownies. The dough was incredibly thick - like play dough. The cookies were OMG though.
Chocolate Pinwheels, which were very pretty and tasted exactly like chocolate ice cream. They look like they'd be hard to make, but they were actually pretty easy.
