I want to ROLL YOU UP into my life!

So, Roomie M was playing Katamari Monday night, right after I finished the ornaments I was making for my Granny, and suggested I make a Katamari for our tiny, slightly sad tree. Two days later, this is the result:

I've got a bunch of Batman ornaments pretty much ready to ship out to friends, but I won't be sending them until Monday at the earliest. I'll try and get a pic up Monday. They're a lot simpler than this one. I've decided not to do any other superheroes this year - I'll do one a year and we'll call them collectors items!

Call me clueless and I'm asking Vanna for a vowel, What pay tell it katamari? I used to play several RPGs when younger, Champions, GURP, Marvel, Palladium and some free shit we made up so I'm familiar w/ RPGs.

It's not an RPG. Katamari is a series of games (Katamari Damacy, Katamari Forever, We <3 Katamari, Beautiful Katamari) where you play a tiny (TINY) little green prince, the son of the KING OF ALL COSMOS (who has a distressing tendency to destroy all the stars by accident).

You start with a little nobbly ball (like the one at the center of my ball of stuff) and then roll it over things, picking up things that are smaller than you. Your ball grows as you pick things up, so you can gradually start rolling up larger and larger items, like people, houses, continents, planets...

It is fabulously cracktastic and has the best music of any video game EVER.
