We seem to be on the same page about a lot of stuff (though I do think Tim loved Steph). In my personal canon, Tim, the very observant boy he is, probably learne a thing or two from his *parents* before he ever met Bruce properly. If his Dafd was as bad at husbandhood as he was at fatherhood...
