I'm so glad you liked it! That's high praise, telling me my Tim is more Tim than current-comics-Tim. ^_^

I felt that way too, about Adventure #3. Kon got to the heart of Tim's issues in just a few panels, and Tim - well, he's just so unused to being *understood,* of course he broke down.

Tim's identity issues both hurt my brain and give me paroxysms of joy. He plays so many roles in his life, I don't think *he* even knows entirely who he is - the only indication that he *might* is the whole concept of the Black Pearl, with this piece of himself protected inside, but that hasn't been brought up in kind of a while.

I like Kon and Tim best when they knock each other off balance. Tim's kind of a jerky friend, in a hopeless and damaged and very *guy* way. It's obvious he likes fucking with Kon. And because of this, Kon seems lo like nothing better than showing Tim up or getting one over on him, even though they undeniably care for each other very much. It makes them feel much more like real people, and makes their relationship interesting to think and write about.

Don't miss the epilogue! I've discovered that a few people hadn't seen it when they read this, and it would be a shame for anyone to miss any of [livejournal.com profile] sammage_art's lovely pictures.
