Snuffy is a "retired" rentboy in Robin #107 who Tim saves from being eaten by a bug monster. His and Robin's dialog implies they have met before, and Tim has tried to get him off the streets.

Tim meets Ted in Birds of Prey #19. and is HILARIOUS throughout the issue. I heartily recommend it. He locks Dick in a room with a virtual tiger for the chance to meet Ted. Oh my dorky little fanboy...
