If anyone is interested, Mystery Potion Thing, AKA Fishes Die Not of Cold, is getting longer. Snape now knows what potion he's supposed to make, though he has only vague ideas of how to go about it. He is, however, very impressed with his laboratory, and has decided to milk Harry for all he's worth. I've hand written, edited, rewritten and reedited, but I haven't typed it all up yet. I'm hoping to do so tomorrow, since I'm off work. Would anyone be willing to look over the first "chapter" for me? I'm really awful at spotting errors in my own writing - I find more every time I go back to

Only one, though I did also have an experiment with heterosexuality (who was conveniently leaving to join the military the next day)
2. Did you win anything in Senior's Who's Who?
I was once voted Most Likely to Become a Bag Lady. ^_^;
3. What kind of car did you drive?
I didn't have a car until I graduated.
4. It's Friday night...where r u at?
Usually home, or over at C's, before or during the period we dated. After, mostly at home.
5. Were you a party animal?
HS Party = 4 or so of us and a foreign film at C's house, then maybe cooking and/or hitting the pool/hot tub. C's house was always fun.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Only ever with close female friends.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Nope! I did once build sets for a production of Guys and Dolls, though, and I attended all the band performances (C was in the band, and most of my friends were in Jazz Band. Our band r0xx0red.
8. Were you a nerd?
Oh hell yes.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No, though I did once get in huge trouble for not reporting some kids in my art class who stole a whole crate of candy from the Dance Team.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
I have the vague memory of there being lyrics painted on the gym wall, but I don't think anyone ever actually sang the song.
11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Mr. Baxter (photography), Mrs. Crane (AP English), and Mrs. Braud (Bio II, who almost doesn't count, because we were friends before I had her class)
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Usually the library, tutoring ESL. If not, then just outside the library door on the floor with my crazy nerd friends. (because my school was weird, and the "quad" was a carpeted and badly lit area indoors.
13. What was your school's full name? Tara High School
14. School mascot? The Trojans (Throwing condoms at sporting events was a suspension-worthy offense. Also, our big rivals were The Spartans, which I found very funny).
15. Homecoming court? I never went to any school dances.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Er, that would be awkward. I don't think so.
17. What do you remember most about graduation? I graduated cum laude, but my dad still shouted at me a lot afterward, in front of everyone. I cried a lot and was in the bathroom with something sharp when Aunt W came to find me (she gives the best hugs). That was the night I realized nothing I ever did would be good enough for that man.
18. Where did you go senior skip day? I didn't. Everyone else (read: the popular white kids) mostly met in a grocery store parking lot, which I thought was dumb.
19. Have you gained some weight since then? Yes. Loads. I lost 80 lbs during/shortly after my senior year, but I've gained it all back since.
20. Who was your Senior prom date? I didn't go. Two male friends asked me, but I really didn't see the point.
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Oh hell no. I can't imagine anything more awkward.
22. Who was your home room teacher? Er, we didn't really have those...

24. Did you play any sports? Then as now, I avoided all organized team activity like the plague.
