I tried to get into One Piece (via manga) some time ago because, hello, Jessie + Pirates-not-of-the-Caribbean = ♥, but I just couldn't. Didn't care for it at all. This is a damned shame, because of my vast, vast love of piratey songs and other things. I can't get into Horatio Hornblower or Pirates of the Caribbean fandom either. I hate it! I have failled in all my attempts to find a fandom where my ability to sing The Derelict and other gruesom shanties while drunk off my ass on rum would be a valued skill. *le sigh* (You have at least heard my repetoire...
