Unbelievable

I left the apartment for twenty minutes. When I got back, my roommate's dogs had gotten into my backpack, which was on a table, and eaten my rent.

They hadn't had time to finish it off - but a hundred dollar bill and a twenty dollar bill are missing from the sodden pile I found on the floor.

THEY ATE MY RENT.

I don't even know how to *deal* with that. They are so lucky the worse thing I'll ever do to a dog is smack it on the nose. SO LUCKY.

Oh no, that's terrible. *hugs* I think you need to have a serious talk with your roommate about the behavior of those dogs. That really should never have happened. I hope you can get things sorted out.

It's not normally an issue! They're good dogs most of the time. I think they just really like envelope glue, actually, because the last thing they destroyed was the paper slip I'd put a dvd in (a home burned one, with the original still on my computer, so it wasn't a big deal - and actually the disk seems to be mostly intact, though I haven't tested it yet).
